What if...? Students from across the U.S. compete to replace the Google logo for a day as part of the Doodle 4 Google art competition. These are rare golden frogs (Atelopus zeteki) at the Philadelphia Zoo, and they're only 1 to 2 inches (2 to 5 cm) long. An international effort known as Project Golden Frog was launched in 1999, to address declining populations of the Panamanian golden frog due to to a disease caused by a Chytrid fungus, along with the problems of illegal pet trade. A captive population has been established by many zoos and aquariums, with the goal being to return these animals and their offspring to Panama.
